Submit a creative for approval
A creative may run on a screen only with an approval. This guide follows one submission through the console, from the form to the files you load onto the players.

Before you start
- Submissions are made from operator and agency accounts. The advertiser is named in the form, by name and BIN. An advertiser that has no such account asks its agency or operator to submit.
- An operator account can pick only its own structures. An agency account picks from all active structures.
- Have the file ready: MP4 or MOV (H.264, H.265), JPEG or PNG, up to 100 MB.
Fill in the form
Open Submissions and choose New submission.
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Advertiser | The name of the advertiser, up to 300 characters |
| Advertiser BIN | 12 digits. May be left empty |
| Notification number | Your reference, up to 100 characters. May be left empty |
| From, To | The placement period. The end date may not be before the start date, and a submission cannot be sent once the end date has passed (Asia/Almaty days) |
| Product category | One entry of the IAB Ad Product Taxonomy 2.0. It is required to send the submission |
| Fee plan | Single submission or Annual prepayment. No fee is charged in the test contour |
| Structures to run on | Tick each structure. Next to it, Plays per day is optional: if the actual plays of a full day stray by more than 30 % from what you declare, the platform raises an event |
| Creative file | The file to upload |
Save draft keeps what you entered; the file is uploaded with it. A new file replaces the earlier one. A draft can be edited as long as it has not been sent.
Send it
Send for review needs the advertiser name, both dates, the category and the file. Without them the console names what is missing. After sending, the submission moves on by itself:
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Not sent. You can edit it |
| Submitted | Sent, waiting for the file check |
| Checking the file | The platform reads the file |
| In review | A moderator of the authority has the submission |
| Information needed | The moderator asked you a question. You can edit it |
| Awaiting approval | The moderator recommended it; an approver decides |
| Signing | The approval is being signed |
| Approved | The approval number is issued |
| Rejected | Refused. The History shows the reason. A rejected submission cannot be edited: make a new one |
| Withdrawn | You took it back |
The Technical checks card of the submission lists container and codec, resolution, duration, frame rate, file integrity, audio on an outdoor structure, whether the file fits the screen and whether it fits the slot. The results are advisory, except that a broken file, or one that does not fit a chosen screen or slot, is returned to you. The History card lists every step with its time.
Answer a question
When the state is Information needed, the form shows the question under Moderator question. Change the data or the file and choose Send again. While a submission is a draft or waits for information, Withdraw takes it back.
Load the approval onto the players
When the state is Approved, the submission shows the approval number. Open Approvals and then the number. The page shows the manifest that was signed, with the SHA-256 of the file, the period and the structures. Two downloads make up the bundle for the player:
- Download the creative: the media file.
- Download the .p7s signature: the signed envelope, named after the creative file with
.p7sadded, for examplespot.mp4andspot.mp4.p7s.
Put both files side by side on the player. The player checks the signature and the checksum before it shows the file. Public check page opens the page that anyone can reach with the number.
The status of an approval in the list is Active, Expiring soon (valid for 7 more days or fewer), Expired, Not in force yet or Revoked. A revoked number enters the signed revocation list and the public page shows the revocation.
If it does not go through
| The console says | What to do |
|---|---|
| This file type is not accepted | Use MP4 or MOV (H.264, H.265), JPEG or PNG |
| The file is over the size limit | Compress the file to 100 MB or less |
| An operator may pick its own structures only | Remove structures of other operators, or submit from an agency account |
| The period is over | Move the end date to today or later |
| New submissions are suspended by a violation case | A case on your structures suspends new submissions until the authority lifts it. See Answer a violation case |
